Law firms

Law firm intake that does not depend on who is at the desk

In most practice areas the firm that answers first gets the client. Intake is simultaneously your biggest source of new business and your biggest source of risk.

Why the calls get missed

Potential clients call during a hearing, at 9pm, or on a Saturday. Voicemail loses them to the next firm on the list. The firms that win intake are the ones reachable at the moment someone decides they need a lawyer, which is rarely during office hours.

What it handles on the call

  • New matter enquiries captured after hours and at weekends
  • Practice area identified and routed to the right attorney
  • Conflict check prompts run before anything is promised
  • Matter file opened in your practice management system without retyping
  • Consultations booked into real attorney availability
Built on
  • Clio
  • MyCase

Common questions

Will it give legal advice?
No. It is scoped to intake: who is calling, what happened, when, which practice area, and booking the consultation. It does not answer legal questions and it does not characterise a claim. That boundary is written into the build.
How does it handle conflicts of interest?
It runs the conflict prompts you specify and checks names against your existing matter list before a consultation is confirmed. Anything ambiguous is flagged for a human rather than cleared automatically. It surfaces conflicts, it does not adjudicate them.
Is the intake information confidential?
It has to be, and that shapes the architecture. Where transcripts live, how long they are kept, who can read them, and which vendors touch the data are all decided before the build. Bring your own confidentiality requirements and we will design to them.
Can it integrate with Clio?
Yes. Intake writes into Clio or MyCase so the matter is open and populated before anyone touches it. If your practice management software is different, tell us which and we will confirm the integration before quoting.
