AI for law firms, scoped to the work that loses clients: intake, the phone, and the follow-up
Most AI for lawyers is about drafting. The revenue leak in a small firm is earlier than that: the call that rang out during a hearing, the intake form nobody followed up, the consultation that was never booked. That is what we build for.

Intake that opens the matter, not a ticket
The agent takes the first call or the web form, asks the questions your intake sheet asks, runs the conflict prompts you specify, and opens the matter with the fields populated. A person reviews it. Nobody retypes it.
- Practice-area routing so a family matter never lands with the litigation team
- Conflict prompts checked against your existing matter list, with anything ambiguous flagged for a human
- Consultation booked into the attorney's real calendar, with the retainer conversation queued for a person
- Everything written into Clio or MyCase with the transcript attached

ai receptionist for law firms
A receptionist that answers during the hearing
Prospective clients call when they have decided they need a lawyer, which is rarely during office hours and never when your one receptionist is free. The agent answers every call at once, in your firm's words, and books the consultation.
- Every call answered, no hold queue, no voicemail for new matters
- Existing clients recognised and routed to their attorney's line or a message with context
- Urgent matters (arrests, deadlines, emergencies) escalated to the on-call attorney by your rules
- Says plainly that it is an assistant when asked; trust comes from being answered, not fooled

Agents for the chasing nobody bills for
Document requests, signature reminders, appointment confirmations, the third email asking for the ID copy. Agents run those sequences across email and text, stop the moment the client replies, and log every touch on the matter.
- Document collection sequences with a checklist the client can see
- Consultation and court-date reminders, with reschedules booked automatically
- Status updates drafted from the matter record for a paralegal to approve and send
- Every message logged to the matter, so the file is the history

Sized for a firm of one to fifteen
Large-firm AI assumes an IT department. This assumes a managing partner who is also the marketing department. One build, in the tools you already pay for, handed over with your logins and a written runbook.
- Built inside Clio, MyCase, HubSpot or GoHighLevel, whichever you run
- Fixed scope and a fixed number, quoted after a short audit of how a matter moves through your firm
- Thirty days of fixes after handover; ongoing support only if you want it
- Personal injury, family, immigration, estate and criminal defence intakes each get their own question set

What it does not do
The line between what the automation handles and what a person handles is drawn before the build, in writing.
- Give legal advice or characterise a claim; intake captures, attorneys assess
- Clear conflicts; it surfaces them for a person to decide
- Store client data anywhere you have not approved, or with vendors you have not signed with
- Replace your paralegal; it removes the retyping and the chasing from their day

Book a callCommon questions
It depends on which problem you are solving. For drafting and research, the legal-specific tools (Harvey, CoCounsel, Clio Duo) are ahead of anything general. For intake, the phone and follow-up, the best tool is whichever one is wired into your practice management system and answers when you cannot. That second category is what we build. We do not sell a drafting tool.
It has to be, and that shapes the build. Where transcripts live, how long they are kept, who can read them, and which vendors touch the data are decided before anything is switched on. We work to your confidentiality requirements and sign what your firm requires.
Yes. Intake opens the matter and the contact in Clio with the fields populated; the receptionist writes call notes to the matter; agents log every message. MyCase works the same way. For other systems we confirm the integration path before quoting.
We recommend it says so when asked, and most firms agree once they hear it. A prospective client cares that the call was answered and a consultation was booked. Pretending otherwise damages trust the first time it is obvious.
A legal answering service is people taking messages, billed per call or per minute. This answers every call at once, runs your intake questions, checks conflicts, books the consultation and opens the matter, and you own it afterwards. If you want a human on every call, an answering service is the right buy; if you want the matter open before anyone picks up the message, this is.
